The core team at Redder

Adam

Adam’s career began in Sales & Marketing. From there he moved around most of the other business departments before settling in Relationship Management… whilst also getting involved at every stage with the internet.

Going into business with Andy was a given. They’d already worked together for years and Redder was the natural progression for their business relationship.

Usability and moulding the design of a website around its functionality & call-to-actions is what Adam specialises in.

Attention to detail is one of his key qualities (he’s slightly obsessive), and all of our work is scrutinised by Adam to ensure nothing has been overlooked.

Adam is also our resident wizard for the search engine optimisation requirements of our clients.

Additional to his role Adam is also a member of the Institute of Directors, he’s chaired his local business networking group for a couple of years and also gives yearly entrepreneurial talks to two local schools.

In his spare time, Bear Grylls wannabe Adam runs, rides, swims, hikes, treks, jumps, camps and sometimes sits down.

Andy

Andy trained as a graphic designer and then moved straight into web design while the internet was in its infancy. After proving his worth designing all kinds of print media and leading edge websites, he made the unusual transition into web development to add to and compliment his design skills.

When it comes to design, whether it’s for a logo, branding exercise, flyer/brochure (anything for print) or a website, Andy’s creativity is extraordinary.

On the development side Andy has built up an enormous amount of experience creating online systems for many different sectors. Finding brilliant solutions to a client’s ‘problems’ is what drives him and he’s never let one beat him yet.

Andy is active in his local community, co-founding the Calne Business Network and working with the local Community Area Partnership to boost the local economy.

In his spare time Andy is a family man, which means fitting in opportunities to pursue his love of film and art are limited to rare but cherished instances. He avoids ‘needless’ exercise claiming that all evidence points to it being detrimental to health.

Ben

Ben was born to be in the world of the internet. After studying Computer Science at university, he went straight into a design and development role. However, it didn’t take long for Ben to outgrow that role and move to Redder for more of a challenge. As unusual as it is, Ben’s skills complement Andy’s as a designer & developer.

Ben is a natural designer and thrives on creating new brands from the concept to the finished article. He enjoys the variety of subjects to which our clients introduce us.

His development skills are intuitive and diverse, and derive from a constant desire to find new ways to achieve the best results with the most efficient code.

In his spare time Ben likes to defy gravity flying helicopters of all sizes (from RC models to full-size choppers). He can often be found lounging around in the rooftop pool of the Thermae Spa in Bath with his girlfriend, and is an authority on such highbrow subjects as South Park and Family Guy.

Mark

Mark’s broad set of development skills and web system experience enable him to design and build complex online software quickly and efficiently. The variety of previous successful systems developed is testament to how well he can adapt to the very specific requirements of our clients.

At Redder we strive to ensure we’re at the cutting edge of web technology, and provide our clients with the best solutions available. Keeping abreast of the latest and greatest coding practices, functionality and tricks available is a sizeable task. Mark comfortably keeps us ahead of the game.

We don’t have enough space here to list all of the technologies, coding pracitices & methodologies and applications & frameworks that Mark is more than competent in, so unless you’re sitting comfortably it may be best not to ask him.

In his spare time Mark enjoys socialising, listening to and creating music, visiting the pub for a swift pint, and relaxing.
