Who

The Stand-Up Club’s main aim is to help people have a great time in their spare time. Their flagship venue is at The Comedy Pub in the heart of London’s West End. Here they organise and promote club nights, and also play host to various private events such as corporate shows and charity gigs.

Working closely with sports clubs, private members clubs, theatres, festivals and community centres, The Stand-Up Club makes sure that they have the best comedians for their comedy nights. Added to that, they set up the best environments for audiences to enjoy live comedy.

The Project

The StandUp Club needed a website to promote events, sell tickets, showcase venues and share content. A content management system was vital for them to manage events, comedians and venues themselves. They also needed to get The StandUp Club name out there and take part in some digital marketing.

The Result

Redder designed and developed a bespoke website to help The StandUp Club stand out against the competition. With a few custom modules and integrated services, the website delivers the control and flexibility to create, manage and sell their comedy nights from anywhere – even on the door as punters arrive!

The Comedians

Each Comedian has their own listing, with videos, images and social links. The StandUp Club can promote all their comedian, and easily add them to shows, allowing the audience to find out more about them. The module also helps with SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) to improve the chances of The StandUp Club being found quickly on Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and other search engines!

Automation

A system like this one can get very complicated and tricky to manage. So to help the client on a day to day basis we built as many automated processes as possible. Events can be added easily and quickly. They are are then connected to other areas of the website to keep the user engaged and aware of when and where they can be found.

Analytics & AdWords

Everything is linked up to Google Analytics including all conversion tracking. All this data will help the client understand their users and enable them to proivide better services and more gigs for both their comedians and their customers.
